The project aims to complement and respond to the surroundings and specific conditions afforded by the site, resulting in a collection of repeated shed-like modules that gradually step upwards and over an inviting and sheltered central plaza.
The space reflects the evolution of Google’s priorities for work-space experience and place-making at the human scale level.
Landings is the fourth development that Heatherwick Studio is involved with Google in Mountain View and London Kings Cross.
Landing consists of an 800,000 SF work-space building that will house 4000+ Googlers.
